TINJAUAN YURIDIS PENEGAKKAN HUKUM TERHADAP INVESTASI ILEGAL HUKUM DI INDONESIA
Abstract
Business in Indonesia is currently experiencing rapid development following the digital era, namely by utilizing technology to simplify the transaction process. Companies and individuals also experience ease in their business because they are assisted by fintech technology. Investment is also commonly referred to as capital investment. The discussion in this research uses descriptive methods. To prevent illegal investment, the Investment Alert Task Force provides education to the public, responds to public complaints and requires all unregistered industries to obtain permits from the relevant agencies. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) notes two key factors that encourage the rise of illegal investment in Indonesia, namely: (1) Advances in Digital Technology where digital technology has provided great opportunities for illegal investment actors to create their platforms easily and without being detected. (2) Lack of public literacy. Many people do not understand investment tips, so they are easily tempted by high-yield investment offers.
